Support ALS Research

Dear Friends,

For those of you interested in donating to a registered 501(c)(3) and/or matching gifts in support of ALS research and patient care, Pete would like you to consider:

1. The ALS Clinic that he is a patient of at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Donations here help to elicit the greatest potential from the MGH ALS Multidisciplinary Clinic’s superb team and fuel the research that will result in better treatments and ultimately a cure for ALS

2. ALS Worldwide - ALS WORLDWIDE, created by Stephen and Barbara Byer, is a not for profit organization for ALS patients and their families to obtain information, advice, direction, support, guidance and, perhaps, most importantly, hope.

3. Prize4Life - The Prize4Life mission is to accelerate the discovery of treatments and a cure for ALS by using powerful incentives to attract new people and drive innovation. This is an organization the Pete and his sister Jennifer have a very active role in.

4. The Angel Fund - The Angel Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting ALS investigations at the Cecil B. Day Laboratory for Neuromuscular Research, internationally recognized for its ground-breaking work in the fight against this devastating illness.

5. The ALS Association - Established in 1985, The ALS Association is the only national non-profit organization fighting Lou Gehrig’s Disease on every front. By leading the way in global research, providing assistance for people with ALS through a nationwide network of chapters, coordinating multidisciplinary care through certified clinical care centers, and fostering government partnerships, The Association builds hope and enhances quality of life while aggressively searching for new treatments and a cure.

Please be sure to note on any donation made to ALS Worldwide that it is in support of Peter Frates.
