Virginia Tech helps us continue the fight!
Pete Hughes, head baseball coach at VT, has been an incredible supporter of Pete and our fight against ALS. This year he is partnering with partnering with Bull & Bones Brewhaus and Grill to help raise awareness and funds for ALS research.
With every strikeout recorded by Tech’s pitching staff this season, $5 will be donated to The Angel Fund in the Pete’s name.

Pete Frates Accepts the Eddie Pellagrini Award
The Eddie Pellagini Award is given out annually for service to the Boston College baseball program. Eddie was known for his belief that everyone associated with the program had a responsibility to make it better for the next guy. No question Eddie would be proud.

Pete Frates inducted into the ICL Hall of Fame
Before heading out of town for some well deserved R&R, Pete had one more event on his schedule that we wanted to share with you. As most of you know Pete had been playing ball for the Lexington Blue Sox of the Intercity League and on Saturday night he was inducted into the ICL Hall of Fame.
Here’s a video clip of his acceptance speech and as he tells the audience …. he’s not hanging up the cleats just yet.
